through the falling leaves

Everything shifts, moves, dies
Reminding us
of the fragility
and the wonder
of life

Yet what sees the changes
sees the movement
is still
is quiet
Is the Heart

Fall into the Self
as a leaf surrenders to its creator
as a tree sinks into its roots
as a mountain hears gentle steps
of the sojourn
